OMG. You dare call yourself a groomer?
If you don’t want do groom like it should,
maybe you need to look for another job,
because this is awful to see.
That dog must have such an itchy skin, poor thing.

WRONG. THIS IS COMMERCIAL AND NOT HOW IT SHOULD BE DONE.
airedales MUST be stripped to maintain health skin, and allow a new enriched coat to grow. the colour will FADE if shaved. NOT A GOOD VIDEO AT ALL

why would a dog have ingrown hairs if shaven but NOT if stripped? It would reason INGROWN hairs start if the pore is closed or if the hair is hard and grows back inwards once it has come out of the skin !!
But, if you CUT it with a machine you still have a cm (approx) whereas if you strip the hair you are quite literally YANKING it out – pulling it out. Seems MUCH more likely it would THEN grow inwards.
I am NOT a breeder OR groomer – but I clip my Airedale and NEVER have had ANY problems.

i am wanting an airedale in around 2 or 3 months so anyone in uk, etc. etc. and even i know this is disgusting, the coat should be handstripped , and what about a terrier comb, but on no account, never ever on any dog use a shaver, never, a dogs coat is there to protect its body and face from germs and if it loses its oils, those germs have easy accesss, so above all else treat your dogs correctly

shaving a airedale is absolutely wrong.. read about your dog… it has to be stripped down to the roots with proper tools…never, never, never shave. It will cause the dog to have in grown hairs and cause them to scratch themselves raw… please disregard this film… my dog was sired by cool hand luke three time winner at westminster kennel club 2008 2009 2010
