Where did you buy your table from? I like the drawer underneath it.

I have watched several of the grooming videos on here and I have to say that your videos are by far some of the best. You do a very good job of explaining what you are doing, why you do it that way and what tool(s) to use AND you aren’t trying to sell some kind of products!
Do you groom any full coat Yorkies? I have 2, a male and female, and my male I keep in full coat and would like to know how to properly trim his feet and sanitary area. Thanks…and thanks for sharing!

@KatCountry1033Girl Honestly I would recommend you start by becoming a bather at a groom shop, make sure they know you would like to learn how to groom eventually. That’s what I did and I am glad I did it that way. I was a bather for six months before I picked up a pair of clippers. Also going to grooming expos is very helpful~
I learned in NC.

I’d love to become a groomer. How do you get started? Where did you learn?

Could you tell me where your shop is, I live near the Springfield, Mo. area and am looking for a groomer for my Yorkie. Thanks

Thank you for answering my post! I found a nice pair with 46 teeth for around $30.00. I will order them! Love all of your video’s.. I ordered my blades the other day, they will be here tomorrow… Can’t wait to get started…

@Mary2729 Well they are just a cheap brand honestly but yes, I think they are either a 40 or 42 tooth. the more teeth the better… the less obvious the cut.

What brand of thinning shears do you use? 40 tooth? I would like to buy a pair to use on my maltese and yorkie…
Thanks!

No use clippers with interchangable blades. The ones that just have the plastic comb attatchments are not worth thier weight really… they bog down quickly and go dull even quicker… they also just don’t seem to cut very well. I have a video on the clippers and blades I use just go to my channel and look through my vids till you find the one named “clippers and blades”
Hope this helps!!
